As with sister resort Serenity at Coconut Bay which opened on August 1, 2020, Coconut Bay has received the official Saint Lucia COVID-19 Resort Certification and extensive Paradise Protection Protocols are in place to provide a healthy and safe environment for guests and staff. There is also a new look to some of the Premium All-Inclusive Amenities. While restaurant capacity is now limited to ensure spacing, a new takeout option is also available for guests who may prefer not to dine in. The popular Theme Night dinners on the pool deck will be as delicious as ever with plating now done by staff and the Coconut Walk restaurant will now serve meals à la carte instead of a buffet.

Guests at both resorts enjoy easy social distancing on 85 oceanfront acres including a mile-long beach, and for even more outdoor enjoyment new decking and brand new suntracker beds are safely spaced for lounging at Harmony, a new walkway has been added to the oceanfront area at the Gazebo, and three Kai Mer Spa oceanfront cabanas have been rebuilt for guests who would like to experience open-air treatments.
